Mopeka tank sensors next to your Victron system
Boardstrom reads Mopeka tank sensors directly over Bluetooth and shows each tank as a tile beside your battery and solar, with no Cerbo and no Mopeka bridge.
Supported models
- Bottom-mounted: Pro Check, Pro Check H2O, Pro Check Universal, Pro Plus (including Cellular) and the Lippert BottleCheck.
- Top-mounted: Pro-200, Pro-200B and TD40/TD200 (including Cellular). These measure the air gap above the liquid.
Setting it up
- Stand near the sensor with Boardstrom open and press the sensor's sync button once.
- The sensor appears on its own under Settings › Systems & devices. There is no pairing and no key.
- Tap it, assign it to your system and name it.
- Under "Calibrate to the Mopeka app", type the fill % the Mopeka app shows right now. For a top-mounted sensor, do this while the tank is at 95% or less.
That is the whole setup. There are no tank dimensions to measure.
What you see
- Fill % on a tile, with the liquid depth, and the volume if you enter the tank's capacity.
- A history chart of the level.
- An optional warning when a tank is nearly full or nearly empty, with an alarm notification if you want one.
- The sensor's own battery level.
Good to know
- Boardstrom listens to the sensor's normal broadcasts. The Mopeka app can connect to a sensor and ask for faster updates while you fill a tank; Boardstrom does not connect, so it updates at the sensor's own interval.
- On Android the app needs the Nearby devices permission for sensors to appear.
- Tanks wired to a GX device show up too, when Boardstrom reads the system over WiFi.
- Want a sensor with no holes in the tank? The Boardstrom Tank Sensor is a do-it-yourself radar sensor that reads through the tank wall.
