Ruuvi temperature sensors next to your Victron system
Boardstrom reads RuuviTag sensors directly over Bluetooth and shows each one as a tile beside your power figures: fridge, freezer, cabin, engine bay, outside.
Setting it up
- Open Boardstrom near the tag. A RuuviTag broadcasts all the time, so there is nothing to press.
- The tag appears on its own under Settings › Systems & devices. There is no pairing and no key.
- Tap it, assign it to your system, name it and pick a colour for its chart line.
What you see
- Temperature and humidity on a tile, and the tag's own battery level.
- A history chart per sensor. Tap the tile to open it.
- Optional temperature alarms per sensor, for example a fridge that gets too warm.
Good to know
- The phone or tablet running Boardstrom has to be within Bluetooth range of the tag. A tag inside a metal fridge has a shorter range.
- On Android the app needs the Nearby devices permission for sensors to appear.
- Temperature sensors connected to a GX device show up too, when Boardstrom reads the system over WiFi.
- A sensor you have not assigned to a system stays out of the dashboard, so a neighbour's tag does not end up on your screen.
